Yogurt maker to dry herbs

When I don’t make yogurt (here a good and consistent yogurt’s recipe), I use my yogurt maker to dry the aromatic herbs in my garden. Mostly thyme, chives, bay leaf, sage, mint, rosemary, dill and parsley (my father and my children love this parsley pesto and pine ‘s recipe). But I also dry the leftovers bought like basil or coriander.

But also edible flowers.

By little and according to needs.
I remove the stems and once it is crackling and well dry, I will say a night, Tadaaaa: ready to be stored in hermetic jars, like you buy in supermarket.
Economic and healthy! with the advantage of good smells of cooking during the process.
